I’m sure you’ve heard the saying, “People don’t care how much you know, until they know how much you care.” Do you know how to let prospects and clients know how much you care?
Most financial advisors, insurance agents, wholesalers, branch managers, and even agencies have never been taught best practices for how to let prospects and clients know how much they care!
The reason is that they’ve never really learned, what I call, the lost art of listening. There are only two things that you can do during a presentation. You can speak, or you can listen.
Unfortunately, most advisors and agents are under the misconception that the more they speak, the more the prospect or client will understand. However, to be truly heard, you must first listen.
